This was our first autumn in Nova Scotia, after having moved here from the Canadian west coast in May of this year. I have to say that this was my favourite season, so far. Early autumn here, the weather was much more stable and calm than in the other seasons (spring and summer), and the sunny days stretched the whole day with warmth and beauty. There are a great deal of deciduous trees – all of which filled the land with their beautiful bright autumn colours. The multicoloured bushes and trees, combined with the crinkled, fallen leaves created amazing textures everywhere.
