Join me in the adventure of practicing what I preach! This is living “Health In Full” in real life.
“Within the environment of our planet, we don’t have to look very far to see the miracles of God’s hand – for we are surrounded by miraculous realities. Yet, the even more incredible thing is, most people don’t see what’s right in front of their eyes.
With my background in studying holistic health, and in particular my training in nutrition, I can attest to the fact that the earth is abundant with health giving, healing plants. Each being a unique miracle from our loving God, and each having its own mix of amazing, healing and organizational energies. This bountiful multiplicity of healing plants clearly gives testament to the true lovingkindness of the Creator, whose mercy endures forever.”

I love to start my day with a yummy, warm Superherb Elixer. Its a wonderful way to wake up, with the deliciousness of my favourite flavour (chocolate of course!) combined with other strengthening, health infusing herbs. I choose herbs that will complement the flavour of chocolate, while also being a good match for my personal health needs. Many of them are “adaptogenic” or “tonic” herbs. In other words, I choose herbs that are well known to boost general body strength and vigor, helping us to be *adaptable* and able to positively handle stress.
So, what exactly do I put in there, you ask? Well, its not the same every day. But, generally speaking, I like to add some kind of fat, a protein source, raw cacao, a sweetener, and then a combination of other superherb teas, powders, and / or extracts. I don’t really measure, I just add to taste.
If you wanted to make your own version, here’s an idea of some of the ingredients I might personally add:
- Coconut oil
- Cacao Butter
- Nuts or seeds (almonds, cashews, hemp seeds)
- Nut or seed butter (raw almond or pumpkin seed)
- Quality vegan mixed protein powder
- Bee pollen (not too much – or will be too strong)
- Nuts or seeds
- Goji Berries
- ***Note – I do not recommend any brand… most cacao (like coffee beans) is highly contaminated, and toxic. The two brands that I choose are either Sunfood’s Raw Cacao, or David Wolfe’s Raw Cacao.
- Stevia (mostly what I use)
- Berries (not too much, unless you want it thick)
Herb Options (Teas, powders, or tinctures):
- Chaga Mushroom
- Reishi Mushroom
- Ho Shou Wu (Fo Ti)
- Rehmannia Root
- Burdock Root
- Rhodiola Root
- Pau d’arco
- Cat’s Claw
Happy Elixering! Hope you give a morning superherb drink a try – and see how it can contribute to your health transformation.
In Sincere Shalom,
